More than 50 years ago, an Italian family started a small marble company in Colombia. Since then, Granitos y Marmoles (GyM) has evolved into a large company, with a large production capacity that allows it to produce anything ranging from very simple standard tiles to very sophisticated and large contracts. GyM has state of the art technology for quarrying and transforming Marble, Granite, Limestones, Sandstones and Coral Stones. With two factories, one in Bogotá and one in Cartagena, and warehouses in 8 major cities in Colombia, Caracas (Venezuela), Lima (Peru), and Pietrasanta (Italy), Granitos y Marmoles is one of the leading companies in the industry.
Thanks to an outstanding management team and a very knowledgeable and dedicated labor force, GyM has been able to compete successfully with most of the best-known marble companies worldwide. Some of the latest projects worth mentioning are the International Airport in Trinidad Tobago, the Tower of Banco de Santander (the largest project of Emerald Pearl in the world), the Mormon Temples in Bogotá-Colombia and Guayaquil-Ecuador, the interiors of the Mormon Temple in the Dominican Republic, Banco Wise in Lima-Peru and many others.
Granitos has also been very successful in the US markets with its own exclusive products: Gold Stone, Shell Stone and Coral Stone.
