For more than three decades, Guatemarmol has been quarrying, transforming and marketing the original Green Marble from Guatemala. For 50 years, the Group Granitos y Marmoles have been successfully quarrying, producing and installing marble and granite and today it is one of the leading marble and granite companies in Central and South America.
In 1999, Guatemarmol and Granitos y Marmoles joined forces and founded a new company; “MGS Marmoles de Guatemala” aimed at producing high quality Green Marble Tiles, and non-standard thickness slabs.
Marfisa, producer of fine Cut to Size projects, standard slabs and tiles, and MGS both have invested in the best technologies offered by the Italian industry, and can today supply any request with quality, competence, and service second to none.
Thanks to the beauty and quality of our products, together with the highest standards of quality-control and customer-warranty and satisfaction, our group is gaining a leading position in the worldwide Green Marble market.
